Meet “The Kodak Man” Lenny S. from the.LIFE Files on Vimeo.

You’ve seen his signature in a couple exclusive photos for the.LIFE Files, heard the name “Lenny S” shouted out on countless Jay-Z records and we’ve seen his name on the back of classic rap albums as lead A&R – but one of his biggest passions is photography. Unless you were living under a rock, you know that the.LIFE Files premiered the official “Run This Town” video stills featuring Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West that shut the internet down. In this teaser clip of our full length interview Lenny S talks about the day he released the pictures and the mayhem that ensued afterwards.

Part 2 of the interview which drops next week gives you more background on the beginnings of Lenny S in the music industry – from his days at Bad Boy Records, to interviewing with Jay-Z and Damon Dash at the first ever Roc-A-Fella offices and capturing classic photos in hip-hop that have yet to be uncovered. You will see exclusive photos of Jay-Z, Kanye West, Amber Rose, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Busta Rhymes and the Notorious B.I.G. when the full interview drops!
